Something for Everyone at HPL this Summer

What do Chipotle, Ego Boutique, NBT Bank, and Ravenswood Comics have in common? They, along with over 30 other local businesses donated something to make this year’s Summer Reading Program our biggest yet!

By the time you’re reading this, it’s too late to come to our Universe of Stories Kickoff party, but it’s not too late to come to any of the other dozens of events happening here throughout the next two months. Every day as different weekly activities and there are a few special events sprinkled in for readers of all ages!

Mondays, young readers can stop in for a space-themed chapter book storytime! Join Diana as she reads- and helps you read- “Space Taxi” and check out a STEAM program either before or after those events! Tuesdays make sure to check our schedule as we have Teen DIY Bath Bombs one week (7/9) and Rocket demonstrations the next! Wednesdays we host ‘Messy Kid Art’ at 1:00 p.m. – you make the mess, we’ll do the cleanup! Thursdays, starting July 18 we will be hosting BIG events before the Thursday Night Concert Series on the Village Green. Puppet shows, performances, and STEAMworks will keep you busy before some amazing musical acts take the stage. Fridays at 6:30 we’ll be showing Star Wars films in our community room, and Saturdays we’ll be showing more ‘out of this world’ movies at 11:30 a.m.

There’s truly something for everyone at the Hamilton Public Library, and not just in terms of books! Our diverse selection of programming will definitely have something you’re interested in, not to mention the wide variety of prizes we have for those that participate in the program!

Stop in and grab a full calendar of our Summer Reading Program events, you’ll be glad you did.
