Assistant Director

It is our pleasure to share that Meghan Milligan has been appointed as our Assistant Director! Meghan has worked at the Kirkland Town Library in Clinton since 2010, supplemented with additional part-time opportunities at the Jervis Public Library in Rome, Dunham Public Library in Whitesboro, and Waterville Public Library.

Meghan received her Master’s Degree in Library Science from Clarion University in 2012 and has well-rounded experience working the circulation desk, fielding reference questions, planning and hosting events, familiarity with Mid York Library System policies, procedures, services and staff. She loves public libraries and feels most at home working in smaller towns.  This is an exciting new chapter in the history of our Library—we are confident Meghan will be a wonderful addition to our team and look forward to working together with her.

Officially, Meghan will begin work with us December 1st, but she will be visiting the Library and attending events frequently throughout the end of November– including the Community Room Equipment Overview (on 11/19), the Volunteer Appreciation Reception (on 11/20) and the Art Reception celebrating Anne Stillwaggon (on 11/23). Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our Assistant Director Meghan Milligan!
